The Top 10: Linkin Park Live Performances!

It is with great regret that Chester Bennington lead singer of Linkin Park committed suicide on the 20th of July.

With that we celebrate the music left behind this Rock Icon!

 

In 2013 Linkin Park won MTV's Best World Stage Performance and where nominated in 2014 for World's Best Live Act.

They where also voted as 2014’s Best Rock Band and Live Act of the Year by Loudwire’s Readers

Linkin Park - Rolling In The Deep Cover - iTunes Festival 2011

iTunes Festival is a music concert series held by Apple, Inc. inaugurated in 2007. Free tickets are given to Apple Music, iTunes and DICE users who live in the UK.

Also on the playing the festival where some of the biggest acts at the time Adele, Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Foo Fighters and Paul Simon.

Linkin Park - Somewhere I Belong - Live In Texas

2003

Live in Texas is the first live album and third DVD of the band, originally released in 2003. The band's main set list includes songs from their studio albums Hybrid Theory and Meteora.

The album managed to peak at #23 on the Billboard 200, and it has sold 1.1 million copies in the United States.

At the end of the concert, DJ Joe Hahn threw a piece of his equipment on the stage floor.

Top of the Pops, also known as TOTP, is a British music chart television programme, made by the BBC and originally broadcast weekly between 1 January 1964 and 30 July 2006.

This is Linkin Parks first performance on the hit show in 2001, they later came back on the show in 2003

Linkin Park P - One More Light - Jimmy Kimmel Live

“We were going to come out and play ‘Heavy’ first, but in light of our dear friend Chris Cornell passing way, we decided to play our song ‘One More Light’ in honour of him to start this off. We love you, Chris,” said Chester Bennington.

It was one of his last times Linkin Park performed live on TV, a few months later Chester was announced dead.

Linkin Park - What I've Done - Red Square

Linkin Park is played Moscow's Red Square to celebrate the world premiere of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Same night the film opened the Moscow International Film Festival.

The band's special Moscow show, produced by Live Nation, was part of their European Tour.

Linkin Park - Somewhere I Belong - Milton Keynes

It was recorded during the band's annual Projekt Revolution festival tour at the Milton Keynes National Bowl in 2008.

The concert featured material from all of the band's albums, as well as songs from their EP, Collision Course with Jay-Z

Road to Revolution: Live at Milton Keynes is the second live CD/DVD/BD and In Italy, the album was certified gold by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry

The concert was included in the band's tour "A Thousand Suns World Tour". There were 15,170 tickets available for the concert and 15,170 tickets were sold. Hence the profit from the concert was 100%

The whole tour of the band had Gross Revenue of $17,486,240

MSG has been ranked as one of the 10 most expensive stadium venues ever built.

It can host 88,000 guests daily, of which 67,500 combine all four days, to add up to a total maximum of 149,500 different attendees.
