Chester Bennington lead singer of Linkin Park has died aged 41.
I was a wee' little lad when I remember we where driving in my dads car on the way down to Weston Super-mare for a fun packed day.
Being the 'Devil Child' I was, I remember rummaging through my Dads CD'S and spotting HYBRID THEORY for its eye caching album sleeve.
He told me he was going to teach me a lesson in music and I remember first hearing 'Papercut' my 6 year old Brain Blown apart! I haven't looked back since and it has unlocked a lot of doors for me since.
It is with great regret that Chester Bennington lead singer of Linkin Park committed suicide on the 20th of July.
The singer, 41, hanged himself at his private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in L.A. County.
He leaves behind six children, This came weeks after fellow alt-rock singer and good friend Chris Cornell killed himself , The date is what would have been Chris Cornell’s 53rd birthday.
Chester suffered with depression related to a troubled past. He was abused as a child by an older male and struggled with drugs and alcohol problems.
